A Diversion

Since I enjoy tennis, the fact that the US Open is drawing some of us away from that other event, it was great sport last night watching Japanese teenager Kei Nichikori upset the #4 seed in a back-and-forth five-setter. How was it watching him play from Japan? Will he be John McCain’s Secretary of State?

Josh,

I am a Sumo fan, but I did notice it on the news. But the young man does have some sense. In a news interview, he respectfully asked the elderly Senator to please refrain from tapping him for any position, as he would rather stick to his game.
