The Big Bounce
Now is when I start paying attention to the national polls, especially the Gallup daily tracking poll. Obama got an 8 point bounce. The average for Democrats since 1964 has been 6.2. And as you may recall, Kerry lost a point. With 38 million watching the Obama speech, that’s not a typo, it is no wonder. I don’t think McCain can close the gap next week, so if the past holds true that the one who leads in the first Gallup Poll after Labor Day usually wins, Obama is in great shape. Except for September surprises and October surprises.

Josh, that is why he got desperate and threw a hail mary pass. My understanding is that whats her name was only minimally vetted so their still might be a big surprise waiting in the wings. One thing for sure, the reps in the Alaska congress don’t believe that she is even qualified to run Alaska. The local papers are becoming savage.
