The most likely reason is that when you are emailing a million people or more, you have to stagger the delivery. Too many messages originating from the same source at the same time gets a message blocked as spam by Internet hub providers, whose systems react automatically to what may be the start of a denial of service attack.

Sasha, on possibility is that they ranked the order by the amount of money given to date. Obviously the big boys and girls got a heads up first. Now if you haven’t sent in your euros, then my theory is no worth a wooden nickel.

Josh, the word started to spread late last nite. NBC called it about 9pm my time(CDT), somebody was so damn full of himself about knowing the big secret that he could not keep his trap shut and called in the pack of jackals. I wonder if it was Biden himself. Like I said, I knew who it was by 9pm last nite-it came from AP I think, and was confirmed by NBC. The ’source’ didn’t want his name used as he was not authorized to speak for the candidate or the campaign. Sounds like Biden thought he would burst if he did not tell the press.
