Shibuya is a major hub railway station in Tokyo, and a monkey was spotted just roaming around. Perhaps he didn’t have a ticket.

In any case, and I saw this on TV, what appeared to be about 30 cops surrounded the little beastie while holding up nets and gradually moving in. However, our Simian cousin eluded Japan’s finest by leaping along a wall and over the net, and led police on a 300 meter chase where he finally disappeared along the tracks.

Not a glorious day for our boys in blue, and somewhere, there is one happy monkey.
