Will Hillary’s White Voters Support Barack?
Clinton is down to her last false arguments. With this Saturday’s Rules Committee not likely to give her what she wants, Clinton will continue to make the bullshit case that she leads in the popular vote and she will do better in certain states because of her strong support among white voters.
Once again she is dead wrong. She falsely claims that her white voters will not vote for Obama and therefore she will make the stronger candidate. While she is doing better with this group in the primaries, Mark Mellman, John Kerry’s pollster, writing in an important and timely NYT op-ed, says that Obama is doing better than either Gore or Kerry with this critical voting group. He also points out that primary group voting does not hold the line in the general election. For example, few younger voters supported Kerry in the primaries, but strongly supported him in the general election, giving him the highest percentage of young voters.
Gore lost this voting bloc by 17 percent while Kerry lost them by 23 percent. But right now, Obama is even with McCain with this voting bloc.

Sasha, are the HRC voters taking thing as seriously as they seem to be on mydd and talk left? The majority of posters to each of these blogs seem to be very poed at Obama, and blame him for everything that HRC did wrong. Do you think that if hrc loses her MiFl scam this weekend, she will go to the courts and sue, saying that as she is winning-as defined by her-she should be the candidate. Lots of her supporters seem to be just as poed at the DNC as they are at Obama, they seem to think that HRC will not go out and work for Obama, but will make a 3rd party run-while not being on the ballot of any state, that would really work-. And what is it with her own people, ie terry and harold. They were the ones in charge, well terry kept mi from going early when he was head of DNC, now he goes 180 and says the opposite of what he actually did before. As for harold, he was one of those who made up the rules, he is also on the committee that is voting this weekend. Will he do a 180 also? Do these people have any ethics???
