Insider White House loyalist and press secretary, Scott McClellan, has messed things up for the righteous right who thought the Second Coming was just around the corner. Scott has revealed that George Bush, who genuinely believes God worked things out for him to be president, paid God back by invading Iraq, not for oil as we all foolishly believed, but to establish a beach-head for the god-driven, American style democracy the Pugs worship. Think of George Bush as a political John-the-Baptist, preparing the way for the Lord in the desert: the quicker peace is established in the Middle East, the quicker it is safe for JC to make his comeback.

The good news here is that Herod’s wife, who didn’t like JB, got her daughter, Salome, to do a seductive dance that turned Herod on. It ended with John the Baptist’s head on a platter. There are no Salomes around these days, but history will have George’s head.
