It serves the Pugs right. Now they have their Ralph Nader, except more. Bob Barr, the former floor manager for Bill Clinton’s impeachment, now running on the Libertarian ticket, should make for an interesting side debate. He has a way about him…

I suspect very little. He will take some votes away from McCain in the deep south and will draw voters who wouldn’t otherwise vote. I doubt that any states will switch because of it. But … he will force Mr. McCain to deal with issues that he’d rather not think about. And mostly he will provide amusement. (The man is a disgusting sack of hypocrisy.)

I’ve met Ralph Nader. He’s no Ralph Nader…Like all Libertarian candidates, he has no money, no charisma, no media ties, nothing other than the fact that he’s raised his right hand. The only way he’s a factor, and a minor one at that, is if he can shoehorn himself into a presidential debate or two–which libertarian candidates can never seem to do.

I see more mischief. Ron Paul is also more of a Libertarian than a Republican and he has managed to get high single digit shares in many primaries and I believe he has a couple of doubl digits. It will be interesting to see where the Paul votes go.
Also John McBush does not lack for hypocrisy, and Barr can spin it with some of the best of them.
