Repugnant, Repugnant, Repugnant
So now we know. Hillary Clinton is hoping somebody pops Obama, invoking the Robert Kennedy assassination as a reason for her to stay in the race. I’m going to check to see if the vote for Vice President is separate from the vote for President in the State of New Jersey. If so, I will vote for someone else in case Bill Clinton gets his wish and she forced onto the ticket. This remark is the the bottom of the barrel. This remark shows how low she will go. This is bush league, so to speak. Clinton ought to be ashamed, but I doubt it.
PS. Changed the title this morning.

JOsh,
I couldn’t agree more . I SHOULD be Hillary’s ideal supporter, a 66 yr old white woman who has been an activist feminist since before we had a label. But like all the activists I know, we will not be blindly led. We want the woman who breaks the ultimate glass ceiling to do so honorably, not through innuendo or slime like a rovian republican and certainly not through her husband.
Hillary, YOU DO NOT REPRESENT THOSE OF US WOMEN WHO HAVE STRUGGLED AND ACHIEVED ON OUR OWN. YOU BESMIRCH ALL WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED

Ok, she’s tired in spite of being ready on “day one.” But she doesn’t seem to be able to say “I made a mistake.” And that just reminds me entirely too much of the current overlords. I’m really disappointed in her, and I didn’t expect much to begin with.

Josh, truthfully, you would vote for possibly 8 more years of Bushco? Until just before Texas/Ohio, no one on this site has been more of a Hillary supporter than I have been. And no one is more disappointed, and to use your appropriate phrase repulsed, by her campaign and its take no prisoners approach. I don’t believe she’s going to have any leverage to steal the nomination, even with the highly leveraged Clinton machine behind her. But voting for “someone else” given the stakes? Nader? Bob Barr?

To the Cable & Blogging Hierophants
The white boys won’t let Hillary in for the ride—
no smart woman to challenge their reasoned pride.
And the white boys distrust the likes of Obama—
too effete this man from Obamiana.
They had rather get on the McCain Express—
the pure white streamlined spirit of less stress.
So woman and others to the back of the bus,
We white boy commentators must go to the one we trust!

Left, you missread me. What I was saying is that in some states you can vote for one person for president and for someone else for vice-president without voting for the ticket. So what I would look into is voting for Obama for president, and writing your name in or someone else for VP, anything so that I don’t have to vote for Hillary if she gets on the ticket by hook, more likely crook.

Ah, Thanks of the correction. I doubt she’d take it. Cheney was an anomaly because Bush was so weak. Obama will marginalize her as best he can in his administration and she knows it. Besides, she wants another crack at it in 2012 and couldn’t do that as his VP. In a cynical way, she might be Obama’s life insurance policy. I don’t want to go there, but I’m not the only one who worries about that…

Oh stop it. I’m not a Hilary supporter by a long shot, but can we stop assuming the absolute worst motives to everything that the candidates say, and stop this tiresome nit-picking? She is not hoping Obama will be assasinated, she is not the equivalent of Hitler, she is not the devil incarnate. She is simply a weasly politician who will do anything she can get elected, and it’s not working.
