Simon (Richardson) Says
He should have grown his Lincoln beard before he announced for president (see the link). If he had he would still be in the race, the most qualified of any of the pretenders. (See Lefty’s post below). A guy has an advantage here: gone is the double chin and in comes the cool.
Now out of the race, he is playing the elder statesman. Gore is MIA. So Richardson, who has not endorsed either Hillary or Barack, says that the candidate with the most delegates on Wednesday morning should be the nominee and the other candidate should drop out, the Huckabee model notwithstanding. I agree.
He is not likely to get his way. In a metaphor that has not excaped me as the Clinton mafia machine marches on win or lose tomorrow, one of the movies nominated for best picture of the year was “Let There Be Blood”. It lost, nominated, but lost.

Obama - Richardson vs McCain-Romney… now that’s freedom of choice, baby. Memo to Penn… why play Billy Ball when it’s just as easy to loose schleppin’ Billy Baggage up the mountain. Nixon-Lodge got it right when they said “experience counts”… LBJ was better at watchin’ Jack’s back than Cabot carin’ for the Dickster.

Josh, For all who did not have a chance to watch 60 min last sunday, check this out. This is why the american people need govt. run health insurance-or whatever anyone wants to call it-I am glad that both Obama and Clinton are attempting to do something in this area. This made me so damn mad, at repigs who want to just give HSA or a tax credit to help people get insurance(which can cost a person $1000 a month(no shit!)) or, if you get an expensive cronic disease, your health insurance company can cancel you.

timr, I saw it and I agree with your earlier comment and this one. This shoe ought to be thrown right in McBush’s face when he starts talking about private health accounts and the free-market system. It should be turned into a 60 second ad for the Dems.
