Enriching the enrichers… all about job security, innit?
The issue of nations attempting to enrich uranium to “weapons grade” quality has been a carrot and stick issue during Democratic and Republican administrations, with results at best, mixed. Is Mehmet, traveling from Ankara to Vienna by train really carrying the components for a super high tech “dirty bomb” inside his Wii? What about Mussa, driving with his dad from Sarnia, Ontario to Flint, MI. Hilla and Rudi and Mike and Fred will most likely point the finger at the youngster’s IPOD. Ratcheting up fears about a “dirty bomb” are a sideshow, a distraction issue that shifts focus from the quantifiable failure of a “war of lies” during which “job #1″ was to continue to gut the middle class in the US (and among coalition nations) and shift an enormous amount of wealth to the top of the social pyramid. For Iran’s part, people in the inner circle are making more than handgeld, and the payoff in public relations provided by the “enrichment program” is far greater than the damage a dirty bomb will do…Why?…it keeps warbucks pouring in to Iran from other countries in the Nation of Islam to fund Hizbollah and g-d knows what else… Beyond that it helps secure the jobs of US citizens who work in that vaguely defined economic sector called “security.” When the Federation of American Scientists gets worred about upped enrichment capabilities and increased risk factors, that’s when to build community awareness.

Flint, Michigan has already been hit by a dirty bomb and it did not come via Sarnia, Ontario. It came from Washington, D.C. and the filthy politicians who have occupied that district for the past twelve years. Let’s outsource politicians, we can certainly do without “them”.
