When are they going to wake up?

Rep. Pete Stark apologizes to Bush for his recent remarks that were one of the few honest and appropriate expressions of outrage that have been made on the floor of the House since this atrocity called the Bush Administration seized power. We’ll have our country back the minute Dems wake up and realize that the other guys are playing a game alright, but it has different rules and different objectives than whatever it is the Dems are playing. Can you imagine anyone on the Pug side of the aisle apologizing for anything, including the damage their continuous treason and incompetence has caused? Didn’t think so.

As I see it, our guys make it easy for the Pugs to dump on us. I used to live in Pete Stark’s district and he has always been outspoken and often outrageous. He was doing fine on his outburst until he added the charge that soldiers were being killed for Bush amusement. That was a little too much. If he had stopped short of that Roman Emperor/gladiator notion, there would have been no resolution of censure and he would not have needed to apologize. If MoveOn.org had created a different ad with the same message, there would have been no resolution. And so on.

Every time the Pugs win on these stupid resolutions based on something dumb the Democrats have done the perception of the Democrats as weak and irrelevant on terrorism is reinforced. As the saying goes, if we keep doing what we are doing we will continue to get what we got. The Dumbos need a new game plan, and on the Senate side Reid needs to go. Discipline is not a word in the Democrats vocabulary. With an “anything goes” approach the Pugs sit there and pick us off like flies.

Could not agree more. On the flip side, when the Dems do lock down on a strategy, it’s so feckless as to be worse than worthless. That has to do with the consultant class that’s got a stranglehold on the money and seems to want to play not to lose rather than play to win. The whole thing needs to be turned inside out and rethought, beginning with federal funding of elections and the dissolution of the K Street crowd (neither has a chance in hell of happening). Until then, it’s going to be painful to watch.

My husband and son-in-law are devout Cleveland Brown fans. Even though they know that nine times out of ten the Browns are probably going to do something to screw things up, they still watch them every week.
I’m beginning to think that the dems got their playbook from the dawg pound.

I think Pete Stark’s comments were right on the money. It just goes to show you how much the MSM has grafted their cult-think on us, when there is massive guilt on the left when someone has the courage to utter the truth! I just wish he had stuck to his guns!

Stark missed a great opportunity to back up his outrageous (but completely true) statements with the facts that are right in front of all of our faces, instead of apologizing for telling the truth.

The American people NEED a champion to represent them and we cannot even find a horse for the champion that is not lame!
