Fantasy Politics… Gore-Bloomberg as independents
It’s a long twelve month slog to Election Day 2008 and if Dumbocrats acquiesce to ex-copresident Mrs Clingon’s sins of ego we may be driving to the electronic voting centers on fuel refined from $125/barrel oil. John McCain would be a respectable loser for Republicans- the ex-POW as patsy… fatcat PIGs would enjoy nothing more than reaping the benefits of peak oil while wiping the pie off their faces. Rich Dems would also guilt themselves all the way to the bank reaping petroprofits generated by a Hilla-led reign of global instability. The global industral-military trust would be raking in big time profits profits requiring the fabled Gnomes of Zurich to get geeked on ‘roids to push the extra heavy gold bouillion carts through the tunnels that run under the Bahnhofstrasse. I’ve used this space before to remind that Mr Bill would still be the Hayseed from Hope had Ross Perot not bankrolled his own independent campaign siphoning 19 million popular votes away from Poppy Bush. Hill might still be lawyering at the Rose Law Firm, fronting points for her friends at Wal-Mart. Gore and Bloomberg have the skillsets and global connections to drive the ship of state on a new course. They would draw support from both major parties and, yes, from K Street too. The “liberal” MSM is not interested in examining how America has migrated from popular democracy to a globalist variant of democratic corporativism. Nor are Mrs Clingon, Barack Hussein Obama, Mitt Romney or any of the other jokers and clowns eating dust in the demolition derby. Hollywood might call it “high concept” but my sense is that in doing whatever it takes to be “your gal” Hilla will only follow in the wake of the Bush-Cheney. Who will be on your fantasy team in November 2008?

I, too, smell a third party, but I don’t think Bloomberg wants to bankroll the opportunity to be #2, and Al can run on fumes alone.
If Mike is going to do it, Chuck Hagel, makes an attractive Veep. His x-military status and position on the war gives Mike what he needs.
Meanwhile, The Wife has problems at #2. Warner is running for the Senate; Feingold would be seen as too opportunistic; Evan is not a name for a Vice President; Richardson only brings two or three electoral votes. The only smart move is Wesley Clark or another retired General. And if she is going to do that, she needs to do it quickly so that THEY don’t do it first.
Meanwhile, Obama will return to the Senate as the Philosopher-In-Chief, and maybe run in four or eight years when he is more jaded and he can run on the dubious claim of experience because he has served in the Senate.

There is an online poll for democratic candidates at a site called Democracy for America, and so far they have received over 48,000 votes. 28% of the votes have gone to Al Gore, with John Edwards getting 23%, followed by Barack Obama with 17%, Dennis Kucinich with 14% and Hillary with 6%. I realize that the accuracy of an online poll might be questionable, but these figures are no where near what the MSM are reporting.

“Blinky” Edwards blinks more than Blinky Palermo and we all know what the blinkometer does to the “tell the truth” index hyped by our friends at MSM Court TV… Edwards doesn’t have the experience to be the Cheney XO in a democratic corporatism White House… Richardson does, but he says he don’t wannit. Clark’s Waco baggage will provide Swiftboat stuff for the right. I’m thinking Gore-Dodd (the Ted Kennedy connection) but Meyer thought Santo Domingo when Fidel took a shit on Cuba too… quein sabe… any given election day.

Groom: Election 2008 is no fantasy. It’s a reality show. We may have $125 barrel oil before the election with a Republican in office. They like that high-priced oil. It already hit $90 this week.
Forget Gore. He aint gonna do it; he would never go against the Dems. Besides, it would put his worst enemies in the WH.
Gore is having the time of his life. He’s making more money than he ever has and enjoying a freedom he has never known.
