While Ike Skelton attempts to protect our sons and daughters, preaching the evils of low-bid body armor to Congress, the Bush-Putin blabfest has defaulted to missile defense systems.  Show me the money, por favor.  It’s in missiles, not body armor… Our Cold War redux environment finds leaders and talking heads puffing for the “industrial military trust” as if it was a rigged Sotheby’s auction.  The only thing missing is Rummy and his pal John Poindexter passing their last file card to Shrubby naming the new “defense system.”  How does “Doom” sound?  Any Democrat who may win the White House in 08 will inherit it and live with it.  One more reminder that Bushco’s agenda will rule beyond his time.
