Political Punchcounter… Al Gore
While Josh suggests Gore offers us sophomoric rantings I humbly beg to report that the job of a president is to preside. And this Al Gore does without having to “overachieve.” He was liked enough (more sophomoric and rife with fulmination version) to win the presidential vote in 2000. But as former West Pointer and US Army Maj. Tim Leary used to say… you can be anybody you want this time around . Al and his advisers know this. He doesn’t need to throw many punches because he has vision. When he does, he connects with power. Al Gore is the kind of larger than life American leader the world economy desperately seeks. After all, smart money knows you don’t need to like a winner to back it.
