Al Sharpton is a Big Fat Hypocrite
There is something both comical and tragic about Don Imus trotting over to Al Sharpton’s radio program today to apologize, yet again, for some trash talk street culture remarks that if they had been made by any black person in America would have elicted a chuckle and then been quickly forgotten. A few decades from now when we are all chocolate and habloing in Amerexican, when the Obamas are the rule, not the exception and the bottom-feeding race exploiters like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have exhausted their pools of fake outrage, this sort of thing will go away. And not a moment too soon.
For those of you too young to remember, let me tell you a story about real racism. Back in 1987, a 15-year-old black girl named Tawana Brawley disappeared and was found four days later covered in dog feces with racial slurs written on her body. She claimed that at least two and possibly six white men, one of them carrying a badge, had repeatedly raped her in the woods in upstate New York. She refused to meet with prosecutors and Sharpton and a couple of now disbarred radical lawyers named Alton Maddox and Vernon Mason took up her cause. According to the Associated Press, Sharpton and Brawley’s lawyers asserted “on 33 separate occasions” that a local prosecutor named Steven Pagones “had kidnapped, abused and raped” Brawley.
There was absolutely no evidence to support this charge and a grand jury investigation concluded in late 1988 that Brawley “was not the victim of forcible sexual assault” and that the whole thing was a hoax. She had smeared herself with dog shit and written the racial epithets herself in an attempt to fool her hot-tempered stepfather about her whereabouts. Several witnesses testified that they had seen her at various parties during the time she was supposedly being held against her will.
Not to be outdone, Sharpton and Maddox and Mason accused then state Attorney General Robert Abrams of “masturbating” over Brawley’s crime scene photographs. The whole Brawley affair was one of the ugliest episodes of race baiting of the last half-century and the whole thing was based on a lie that Al Sharpton must have recognized as such at the time.
Pagones’ life was ruined and it took more than a decade for his defamation suit to come to trial. In 1998, a jury finally found Sharpton, Maddox and Mason liable for defaming Steven Pagones and ordered them to pay hefty fines.
To this day, Sharpton has never apologized to Pagones or anyone else for his part in this sordid business. There may be lots of people to whom Don Imus owes an apology. But Al Sharpton isn’t one of them.
Full disclosure: I knew Imus pretty well back in the early 70s, hung out with him a lot, and once wrote an article about him. He is one of the most color blind people I’ve ever known. If he’s a racist, I’m a martian.

The Balck Supremist Al Sharton yes I said Supremist does more to counteract equality than the KKK. Let me clarify, Rev Al could care less about the plight of his race, he is like a swarm of locust, he immediately swoops in wherever he can stir the masses raising as much hatred as he can amongst the races (without first obtaining any facts) then he adorns the face of ineqaulity to any that will listen via all air waves available, after all is exhausted and there is NO MORE MONEY or Supposed Fame in it he leaves.
He claims all African-Americans are Victims, of what? Discrimination, Harassment, Racial Profiling etc. etc. etc. The poor Rev has lost all contact with reality. I’ll admit all the forementioned is absolutely wrong in the 21st century. But what about Jews, Gays, Peoples who are overweight, Chinese, Eskimos, Indians, women etc etc etc. Face it we live in a world of discrimination WHite, Black, Yellow or Red.
If he gave a damn as he portrays and as a man of God Rev, he would promote equalty across the board, set up programs, help bridge all gaps. Simply put Poor Al is the biggest racist of all and only sets us all back 30 years in his aborhent attempts at equality. Get Down off the Cross Al Somebody needs the Wood.

If the good Rev. remembers correctly, lynching was the term used for hanging anyone, of any color, and was the norm for capital punishment for a long time.
It is wonderful to see him capture the word for the races as he sees fit.
I have a white friend and his last name is Lynch, wonder how he feels now? Should he change his name in case it causes offense to Al?

I’m glad someone else recalls thge Tawana Brawley story. I cannot see the “reverend Al Sharpton’”’s name without recalling the story and having my stomach turn over in disgust. He does African-Americans a disservice every time he opens his mouth. He is only for one person anf that is himself.

What have we done? This man has more hate in him than anyone I HAVE HEARD. Yet in a sick way I LISTEN TO him. I am disgusted,but I LISTEN. However is days are approching a end,and I for one will rejoice in that day. Perhaps, if he just repeants he would find true justic.

Al Sharpton, as well as Jesse Jackson are certainly not reverends.
They are nobody’s role model, but instead are the two most racist and biggoted men who aren’t doing this country any good.
Oprah has lost my respect when she so blatenly supports these fools along with Barack Obama for the sole reason that they are black.

God said, “if you do not forgive,then he can not forgive you” Africans caught their on people sold or traded them to the white man, their were a few wealthy white plantation owners, some were good to the slaves and some were bad, but what you do not realize, the whites who were not wealthy were treated badly and killed just like the black slaves. Whites lost their children to the wealthy, whites had to dig through garbage to find food for their family’s. I have experienced discrimination in my job’s because I got pregnant. I was no good to them anymore because I couldn’t travel anymore but two men got to come off the road that worked there because they wanted to be close to home for their pregnant wives! All races experience discrimination! How many black and white women have been raped by black and white men? I think you should gain a position in a company because of your qualifications, and education. the opportunity is here in America for all American’s to get educated to the furthest extent. Whites do not have opportunities like the blacks do, you have the Black
American College Foundation, grants for blacks, and all kinds of organizations to fund education for blacks! There is no excuse, you are suppressing your own people! the opportunity is there, all you can tell them is how bad blacks have been treated, not encouraging them to
break the cycle, and dig for the education. No… wait for the Government to keep you up is your theory! If only the blacks could see through you!

Sharpton has the nerve to threaten to shut down the city because 3 police officers were aquitted today of not murdering Sean Bell. Hell the guy was getting married in the morning and he’s out at strip clubs, until 4am. The guy and his friends are no saints. Sharpton sees dollar signs once again. Where is Al Sharpton when a black person kills or rapes or commits crimes againts any other race!! Is he apologizing to those families? How about a hard working white women leaving a job at night getting forced into her car by a 20 year old black boy who rapes her and burns her in her car only to be Identified by her numbers on her knee replacement, where was Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson then? Apologizing to that family helping them to understand how sorry he is. I think Dr. Martin luther king is turning in his grave at these 2 men. The only way to stop race in America is to remove Sharpton and Jackson from being able to have any say. Who granted these guys anything. If I tried to shut down a city or even talked about such a thing, police would be at my door taking me away in handcuffs. If this was allowed to happen our judicial system is more screwed up than I previously thought

If someone hadnt already pointed it out, it would have been my reason for coming to this site today. AL Sharpton is an idiot with no credentials who used the false claims of Tawana Brawley to escalate himself, and name himself as the representative against whites every time a black is charged. I try to make this point whenever I see his name come up. Does anyone care about credentials? I’ve seen this idiot on Glenn Beck! It makes me sick that he has weaseled his way through the naive ranks to get where he is. But, the consolation is that inside …he knows how exposed he could be, and what a fake he is. I was an upstate NY, Albany, resident when the Tawana brawley case was happening. Then out of the long drawn out hoax, this peabrain emerges to continue as the self proclaimed saviour for the black race. I am not at all prejudice, and I hate seeing things become issues blown out of proportion or presented to be something that it is not. I hope to see this jerk exposed before I die, or I will leave very dissapointed in the choices the human race makes.

Excuse me Shapton’s threaten to close down an entire city. Is that not breaking a law? Is it not time someone held Al Sharpton responsible for his words/ actions. Why is he allowed to spout off and incite a riot? Maybe NY police need to take a closer look at Al and possibly consider him a terrorist. Goodness knows he has done little else for this country other than cause embarssment with his ranting cheap racial remarks. Making me late so I can earn a living to pay taxes to support the same lazy colords, blacks, N words or whatever they want to be called in their identity crisis. Hey want your welfare check? Lynching, was what happened to horse thieves, murderers, etc, back in the days of the old west, Mr Sharpton. I’m afraid the “slaves” of today don’t own it, outright. There are black folks galore, who have faced poverty from birth, and they rose above it, regardless, or in spite of anyone of the white race who attempted to keep them down. Just so you know, I’m NOT prejudiced against race…I’m prejudiced against laziness, and people who sit around boo-hoo’n, waiting for someone like you and Jesse to come along and speak their mind for them. There are plenty of the white race, and others, who expend more time trying to keep from succeeding…blaming this one person, or that one instance, that keeps them on the dependent roles, than it would actually take for them to make something decent of themselves.
Now, for the important reason I commented:
Why is it that you have to stand up for the blacks and their oh-so-horrid treatment by whites? You’re a 2 faced, money grubbing racist, Mr Sharpton…using the black race as a method of keeping your wallet heavy, and your name in the spotlight. The people who know what the word “exploitation” means, don’t need you to speak for them.
Several months ago, I sent you a story about 3 black males who committed a home invasion, during the daylight hours, encountered a 12 yr old girl who was home ill, and shot her in the head, causing her death. I asked you to speak out against them, and then set about waiting for you to prove your racial equality garbage. Good thing I didnt hold my precious breath, because it never came to be. I sent you several others to choose from, if the 12 yr old wasn’t horrid enough for ya…a black man burned the skin off of his white girlfriends white infant…and many more where that came from. You need to feel shame, Mr Sharpton…deep shame, for the way you use your own race. And they, as the saying goes, “if it happens once, shame on them…twice, shame on us”. How many people are actually upset/offended, to the degree you insist they should be, until you get yourself in the middle. People need their own voice, Mr Sharpton…one per person, goes further than one per race. Shut your ugly racist mouth, and let people develop their own voice/value.
