Japan and China to pursue nuclear-power cooperation

Asahi Shimbun leads with

Support for cabinet continues to decline, 39%

According to a poll conducted by the newspaper support for the Abe cabinet has declined from 47% a year ago. Confronted with a choice between the cabinet's focus on economic growth and taking steps to prevent further polarization between rich and poor, the public favors the latter, 45% to 30%.
