Karmic Bowl Backlash

Pallor and gloom have set in like debris from a dirty bomb within a 100 mile radius of Columbus, Ohia (how redneck ball coaches and airline pilots pronounce it, like, uh Miamma). Coach Jim "god squad" Tressel and his Buckeyes couldn't walk on water this time around. Tressel is a friend of the Bush White House, its policies and beliefs. Fitting that another Ohio boy, Urban Meyer, from Ashtabula, over near the border with what Northern Ohioans like to call Pennsyltucky (that hard water makes 'em talk funny) and his Florida Gators whupped little goody two-shoes in his scarlet v-neck pullover. Meyer wants a national playoff system. Tressel wants to keep things as they are, with the newspapers and coaches being polled to determine which team is "the best." Tressel won his 2004 national championship with criminal Mo Clarett on the payroll. Coach T denied knowing that his star was stealing cars and doing big time robbery while still in high school. The man who has turned Ohio football tradition into the state's worst nightmare has frequently used motivational student "pep rallies" to promote Chrisitan religious themes that blur the distinction between Church and State. Meanwhile, publicity promotes THE Ohio State University. Perhaps the OSU board of directors might want to remove the THE from their image and put the emphasis back on STATE and give Tressel his walking papers. You wonder what kind of math they teach these guys when they try and play for a "national championship" after a 50 day layoff. What part of "ring rust" don't the Tresselites understand? And you can bet none of the 20,000 troops the White House wants for Iraq will come from the Florida and OSU football teams. I guarantee it.
